Fall in love this Valentines weekend!
With boating season a year ‘round event in South Florida, now is the perfect time to find that sweetheart of a deal on that yacht you’ve been pining after.
If you are looking to buy a new or preowned boat or list your current boat
Downtown Miami and the Collins Avenue area will be transformed next week into
a yachting mecca. Brokers from all over the globe converge on downtown Miami,
to showcase their products in our fabulous city, at the Miami Yacht and Brokerage
show. Yachts, mega yachts and super yachts will line the waterway along Collins
Avenue on the Indian Creek Waterway.
Over 500 vessels will be on display for this event, in all shapes and sizes. Unique designs and top tier builders make this display one that is not to be missed. Yachting is a universal pleasure enjoyed by people across the globe. It is more than an activity; indeed, it is a lifestyle that has limitless options. Explore the world of yachting at this one of a kind exhibit.
Running concurrently with the Yacht and Brokerage Show is the Miami International Boat show, which is held at three separate locations. Regardless of your interests, the International Boat Show has something for everyone. Whether a sailor, a yachtsman or simply a spectator, the possibilities are endless. Attend a seminar, try your hand at sailing or begin your romance with the sea at Boating 101. Welcome to the Water, one of the many features at the show will introduce you to the boating life and give you hands-on experience in several areas.
There are demos, question and answer sessions, clinics and speakers over all 5 days. In addition there are contests and interactive learning events. Rumor has it that even Dora the Explorer along with some players from the Florida Marlins will make an appearance. The cast and crew of the hit TV show “Wicked Tuna” will also be in attendance, signing autographs and taking questions. The combination of these two events is a fantastic opportunity to explore the world of boating, yachting and sailing. Over 3500 boats combined along with over 2000 exhibitors make this event a “can't miss” for locals and visitors alike.
You may just find the yacht or boat for you that steals your heart without stealing your wallet! Parking is plentiful; shuttles are available at several locations. The Yacht and Brokerage Show is free and there are several tiers of pricing for the Miami International Boat show. There is too much to see in one day so plan on spending a couple of days in our beautiful city!
