Downtowners are staying in the know with traffic flow for the upcoming UltraFest Weekends

Things to know:

Dates of Ultra: March 15,16,17 2013 and March 22,23,24 2013.

Ultra Shows- Hours of operation for both weekends:

Friday/ gates open at 3:00pm

Show starts at 4:00pm

Show ends at midnight

Saturday/ gates open at 12 noon

Show starts at 1:00pm

Show ends at midnight

Sunday/ gates open at 12 noon

Show starts at 1:00pm

Show ends at 11:00pm

Sound checks for Ultra will take place Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.

Approximately 60 to 75 thousand people are expected to attend this world renown event per day. At the same time we will have other events taking place throughout the downtown area, attach you also have events taking place at the AAA arena and our Performing Arts Center. Everyone will be able to go in and out of their buildings, but you will be impacted by traffic please look at the map and plan accordingly, look for alternate routes.

Traffic Plan (as shown on the map) will go into place Friday at 9:00am and will be up and running by 10:00am. This traffic pattern will be maintained throughout the weekend.

Traffic goes back to normal on Monday at 6:00am. until the following weekend when we go back to the traffic plan as shown on the map.

Any vehicular traffic traveling southbound on Biscayne Blvd. will be force to turn right on NE 4th Street. Traffic will go west until NE 2nd Avenue where you will turn left and continue to go southbound on NE 2nd Avenue.

All side streets are completely open to traffic, only difference this year is that the southbound lanes of Biscayne Blvd. will all be used to send vehicles northbound only.
