UPDATE: We are pending the exact date for the inauguration of the Brickell/Biscayne loops. We will be posting that information here as soon as we get it.

After years of planning and securing funding sources, the Miami Trolley is finally rolling down the Miami Health District. Now Downtown Miami gets set to welcome the Miami Trolley for routes along Biscayne Boulevard and Brickell Avenue. This animated trolley with old-fashion seating offers free rides along the designated routes.

The Hours Planned for Brickell and Biscayne:
Monday - Saturday 6:30am - 11:00pm
Every 15 Minutes

We'll keep you posted on the upcoming maiden voyage of The Miami Trolley Brickell/Biscayne.

This goes only as far north as the Omni, which is already serviced by Metromover.  That doesn't add any value to existing infrastructure.  With all the new construction in Edgewater and Midtown, why doesn't the route continue north on Biscayne till, say, 29th and then jog westward to Midtown and then up to the Design District?
