The HEAT Cycle For Safety presented by the Florida Department of Transportation is a 4.48-mile leisurely bike ride designed to promote bicycle safety and cooperation between cyclists, drivers, and pedestrians.

It is not a race, nor is it competitive in any way. In addition to the ride, Parcel B (the strip of land located between the east side of the Arena and the Bay) will feature performances by the HEAT Entertainment Team, light snacks such as fruit, water and Gatorade, and bike safety inspections. Parcel B will be open both before and after the ride.
