The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s Technology and Education Committees conducted a survey relating to aligning technology workforce needs to curriculum needs in our community. Updated survey findings will be presented at this town hall meeting.

The program also features education leadership, technology curriculum specialists, and technology CEOs/CIOs, who will share in more depth the changes that are occurring in their technology curriculum in response to the workforce needs. The discussion will highlight success stories in our community of education institutions working with businesses to align technology curriculum with workforce needs. It will also showcase successful internship experiences to spur the business community to offer more of these internships to our students.

The Greater Miami Chamber strives to highlight the success and progress made in building Miami as a technology hub. The Town Hall Meeting and annual Technology Leaders of the Year awards luncheon have been scheduled immediately before the 2014 eMerge Americas Techweek, an international technology conference, which launches later in the evening.
