5 Ways to Get to Marlins Park Without Your Car

How are you getting to the games this Memorial Weekend against the Brewers? With the ability to reserve a covered space in one of the parking garages for just $15-$20 online, most Fish fans know about the options for parking at Marlins Park. But did you know there are several non-car methods of getting to Marlins Park? By bus, by bike, and of course, by train!

Let’s start here… did you know there are two Metrorail stops within 1 mile of Marlins Park?

5 - Metrorail Option #1 - Take the Metrorail to Civic Center Station and hop on the free City of Miami Trolley, which stops right in front of the ballpark!

* Details: The Trolley is free and runs every 15 minutes through 11:00pm.

4 - Metrorail Option #2: Culmer Station - Take the Metrorail to Culmer Station and transfer to the Marlins Express Shuttle, which will take you on the quick 1-mile ride over!

* Details: The Express Shuttle runs 1.5 hours prior to First Pitch and continues until 1 hour after final out of the game. The Miami-Dade Transit fare is $2.25 for Metrorail and $2.25 for Metrobus. Including the nominal transfer fees, fans that elect to use cash value on EASY Fare Media should load $5.65 to buy the round-trip fare. More info on the Express Shuttle found here!

3 - Tri-Rail - For those Marlins fans a little further North, Tri-Rail’s schedule makes it perfectly feasible for any day game (games starting at 12:40pm, 1:10pm or even 4:10pm)! Take Tri-Rail, transfer to Metrorail and then either take the Trolley or Shuttle as mentioned above!

2 - Bus Routes - There are plenty of bus routes that pass right by the ballpark! Check the 8 bus routes that run right past Marlins Park here.

1 - Get your “Jose Fernandez” on and ride your bike!  - Free, green and healthy! There are free bicycle racks available on the ground floors of the Third Base Garage and Home Plate Garage!

There you have it! While most still prefer the short walk and convenience of reserving your private parking space in one of the garages ahead of time online at marlins.com/parking, it’s good to have options!
