New in Brickell: Prost focuses on good times and it happens to serve great beer and home-made sausages.

Prost Wurstgrill & Bierhouse is a modern interpretation of the beer and sausage gastropub concept focusing on Gemutlichkeit, German for “coziness, peace of mind”.
Open on Brickell’s restaurant alley at 1036 South Miami Avenue, Prost was designed to promote personal interaction. The 80 seats are spread among family-style rustic tables and benches around a butcher-block bar top, surrounded by wood paneled walls and one large chalk wall, a non-digital, old-school interactive blank canvas for local artists and, in time, customers.
“The most important aspect of gathering around food and beer is social,” says Michael Sponaugle, co-owner. “Prost is first and foremost a place to socialize, the fact that we serve fantastic beer and sausages is a plus.”
The menu revolves around the wurst, sausages, while Radeberger will provide the beers. Local Wynwood Brewery will also have a spot on the short-listed tap. With its own sausage machine in the kitchen, Prost home-makes custom wursts daily from the traditional pork and beef to the duck confit and venison. German pretzels, made by a German lady with German ingredients, one of the few authorized to handle in the United States, are also offered.>More
