Experiencing Crazy About You had been on my list of things to do for awhile now. The buzz has about this place has been exceptional and being that it is from the team of Dolores Lolita you just know it will be an amazing all around experience. I know that since its opening, Crazy About You has been "the" place for romantic dining...
The BUZZ about Crazy About You is right on target and yes, the atmosphere is definitely seductive. The lighting, decor, and candles draw you in and both the indoor and outdoor offer an ideal environment to enjoy a dining experience.
In addition to the surroundings, there is of course the menu. Culinary masterpieces at very affordable pricing, a formula that totally works. Upon sitting we received warm pita bread with hummus, a delicious start to dinner. All entrees are accompanied by a complimentary well sized appetizer.
The adventure began with the Calamari al Pepperoncini Flatbread which came with plenty to share. The combination of food textures and kick of jalapenos was simply divine. For the main course I had the "I can't believe it's not pasta" plate. It arrived just how I love it, steaming straight from the kitchen. It is hard to believe that the main ingredient on this dish is zucchini, tasted every bit as authentic pasta bolognese. Just when I sat back and thought it couldn't get any better than this, the cappuccino flan arrived. I can't even find the words to describe the taste of their cappuccino flan, all I know is that when the flavor of the cappuccino meets the flan, its pure magic.
You'll find three sets of entrees to choose from ($15.75, $19.75 and $23.75) and all include a complimentary appetizer of your choice see menu. You can compliment dinner with house wine at just $4 glass and $14 bottle and please remember the cappuccino flan, it is unbelievable and at just $2.50, follows their philosophy to a "t"..."decadent menu with an eclectic mix of International taste at extremely affordable prices".
